Written communication is important for many reasons. This day in age most of us use cell phones and internet texting and messaging; that is how a lot of people communicate but there are other uses for the written language. If we did not know how to write it then we may not be able to read it, it is a simple thought but the act of writing can really be a free time for some individuals to get something off of their chest.
The written communication is essential for the workplace because there are companies who need policies written and constantly updated for one. They also need people to write emails regarding meetings and what they may consist of, the President even has a group of speech writers that help with the orginazation of his speeches.
